Community Council
Members of the Andes Foundation and the Association of young entrepreneurs of the municipality of Sandona managed 25 scholarships to ensure higher education to the population most vulnerable students. Lenny Saavedra, a young professional in the town which is part of the Association, noted that the proposal was carried out at the end of the previous year during a Community Council. He also explained that for the financing of the proposal will invest $25 million, with which beneficiaries will have the opportunity to study the career they want. Likewise, he added that beneficiaries study agro-industrial engineering in the University of Narino through virtual classroom and propaedeutic cycles system, i.e., first they one step ahead technical studies for two years.Later continue studies for a year to complement the technology. Finally, for two years will focus on the deepening of their knowledge to obtain a professional title, explained.
